Reporting a bug
Include the seed if you can — it is shown at the bottom of the pause menu. Runs are fully deterministic from their seed, so a seed plus a description of what you did is usually enough to reproduce the problem exactly and fix it properly rather than guess.
Questions
When does it come out?
Fall 2026. The Steam page is not live yet; when it is, everyone on the mailing list hears that day. No date will be announced that might move.
What platforms?
Windows, macOS, Linux at launch. Nothing else is announced, and nothing else is ruled out.
Is there a demo or a beta?
Not publicly, yet. Sign up on the front page and you will be told when there is something to play.
Does it need an internet connection or an account?
No, to both. It is single-player and fully playable offline, and there is no Laurus account to create. There is also no monetisation of any kind — no ads, no purchases, no currency you can buy.
Two things do use a connection when you have one: Steam achievements and statistics, which go through Steam, and optional anonymous gameplay statistics that help us balance the game. The second is off until you switch it on and can be switched off again at any time — the privacy policy sets out exactly what it contains.
Is this gambling?
No. There is nothing to stake, nothing to win, and no money moves anywhere. The game borrows the shape of a slot machine because it is a set of rules everyone already understands, and then spends the whole run letting you dismantle it.
Can I stream it or make videos?
Yes, and you can monetise them. See the press kit for the full permission.
Refunds
The game is not on sale yet. Once it is, purchases made through Steam are covered by Steam's own refund policy and are handled there, not here.
